Communication policy
Why the order thread has to stay on Routines, and how moderation works.
Draft — not legal advice
Keep it on the platform
Conversations between buyers and developers happen in the order workspace. That thread is the record used for support escalation, refunds and disputes. If a conversation moves to private email or a messaging app, none of that protection exists for either side.
What is not allowed
- Sharing email addresses, phone numbers or messaging handles to continue the conversation elsewhere
- Offering or requesting payment outside Routines
- Linking to external sites in order to bypass the platform
Links to documentation, vendor sites and public references are fine, and are not flagged.
How enforcement works
Messages are scanned automatically. Detection flags for human review — it does not ban anyone.
- Low and medium severity: the message posts and a moderator reviews it.
- High severity: the message is held until a moderator reads the thread. Only the sender and the moderator can see a held message.
Where a violation is upheld, the account may receive a time-boxed messaging restriction. Restrictions applied by automation are always temporary and always reviewable by a person; there is no automatic permanent ban.
Appeals
Every restriction notice includes the reason and a link to appeal. A different reviewer handles the appeal.
